You are responsible for updating and maintaining the accuracy of the information you provide to us relating to your account. We can terminate your account or place your account on hold in order to protect you, Smart IPTV Solutions Limited or our partners from identity theft or other fraudulent activity.
BILLING
2.1
At this time we provide 7-day Trials, bill monthly, bill yearly, or bill a one-off (Lifetime) fee, depending upon the license you have chosen. To the extent permitted by applicable law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits, except as required by applicable law, the policies of the platform through which the purchase was made (see Section 2.8), or as otherwise expressly stated in these terms. Nothing in this section is intended to override your statutory rights under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
2.2
Billing in respect of Corporate Clients and the commensurate settling arrangements take place in terms of the individual agreement recorded in respect of such Corporate Client.
2.3
There are no minimum contract periods. For subscription-based licenses (Monthly or Yearly), your subscription is automatically renewed at the end of each billing period unless cancelled by you in accordance with Section 2.5 or Section 2.9, as applicable.
2.4
In case of payment disputes, transaction reversals, or payment fraud, we reserve the right to block the app from being used for the device the license was intended for.
2.5
Cancellation of direct (non-Apple) licenses. For licenses purchased directly through Smart STB (i.e. not through the Apple App Store), cancellation requests must be submitted no less than 48 hours before the invoice’s due date (or next billing date, whichever is earlier). Cancellations submitted within this 48-hour window may not prevent the next billing cycle from being processed, and any resulting charges remain non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and the user will retain access to the service until that date. No further charges will be applied after the cancellation takes effect. This Section 2.5 is the operative clause for any dispute concerning the timing of cancellation requests for non-Apple licenses.
IN-APP PURCHASES (APPLE APP STORE)
2.6
The following license types are available as In–App Purchases when the Smart STB app is obtained through the Apple App Store. These subscriptions and purchases are available exclusively on Apple platforms (iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV) and are managed through the user‘s Apple ID:
(a) Monthly Subscription — A recurring subscription that provides access to the Smart STB app on a month-to-month basis on the Apple platform. The subscription automatically renews each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
(b) Yearly Subscription — A recurring subscription that provides access to the Smart STB app on an annual basis. The subscription automatically renews each year unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. This subscription is available exclusively on Apple platforms.
(c) Permanent License — A one-time, non-recurring In-App Purchase that grants access to the Smart STB app for the operational lifetime of the Smart STB application on the Apple platform. This license does not expire and is not subject to renewal charges. Access under this license may only be terminated in the event of a material breach of these terms by the license holder (including fraud, illegal use, or reverse engineering of the Service), and not at the sole discretion of Smart STB. This license is restorable across devices signed in to the same Apple ID.
2.7
Certain subscription plans may include a free trial period of 7 days. If you begin a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. At the end of the free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the applicable subscription price, and your Apple ID account will be charged, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the free trial period ends. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription. You will be clearly informed of the subscription price and renewal terms before the trial begins.
2.8
All In-App Purchases made through the Apple App Store are processed and billed by Apple. By making an In-App Purchase, you agree to Apple’s applicable terms and conditions, including the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Payment will be charged to the Apple ID account associated with your device at confirmation of purchase. Smart STB does not have access to your Apple payment credentials and does not process Apple App Store payments directly.
2.9
If you purchased your subscription through the Apple App Store, you may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.
Open Settings on your Apple device.
Tap your name (Apple ID) at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Select Smart STB and follow the prompts to modify or cancel.
Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to the service until the end of the period for which you have already been charged. Uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription.
For the avoidance of doubt, the 48-hour notice requirement in Section 2.5 does not apply to subscriptions billed by Apple; Apple’s own cancellation timing (at least 24 hours before renewal) governs.
2.10
Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the subscription rate applicable at the time of renewal. You can manage auto-renewal and view the current subscription price in your Apple ID account settings at any time.
2.11
All In-App Purchases made through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple’s refund policies. Smart STB does not directly process refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store. To request a refund, you must contact Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com. If a refund is granted by Apple for a purchase, the license associated with that purchase will revert to the status that corresponds to the refunded transaction. For example, if a subscription payment is refunded, access will reflect the remaining non-refunded subscription period; if a Permanent License purchase is fully refunded, access under that license will end. This is not a penalty — it reflects that the license is tied to a completed purchase.
2.12
If you have previously made an In-App Purchase through the Apple App Store, you can restore your purchase on any Apple device signed in to the same Apple ID by using the “Restore Purchases” feature within the app. No additional charge will be applied for restoring a previously completed purchase.
2.13
Subscription prices may change from time to time. If the price of a subscription increases, you will be notified in advance and, where required by Apple, your consent will be obtained before the new price takes effect. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price applies.
2.14
Fair use policy for license transfers. Where the license plan permits device transfers, the following fair-use limits apply to automatic transfers between different devices:
Monthly subscriptions: up to 2 transfers per calendar month, capped at 5 transfers per rolling 12 months, whichever limit is reached first.
Yearly subscriptions: up to 1 transfer per 12-month subscription period.
Permanent / Lifetime licenses: 1 transfer for the operational lifetime of the license. Holders of an ‘Unlimited’ Lifetime tier (as defined in the active pricing page at smart-stb.net) instead receive the monthly-subscription allowance: up to 2 transfers per calendar month, capped at 5 transfers per rolling 12 months, whichever is reached first. Transfers to the same device (license recovery, e.g. after a factory reset or motherboard replacement, retaining the original Virtual MAC) are unlimited, subject to fair use (up to 3 times a day and 10 times a week), and are not counted against the limits above.
Transfers exceeding these limits may be refused, queued, or subject to a manual review request to support@smart-stb.net. Apple App Store In-App Purchases governed by Section 2.6 are restored across devices via the same Apple ID per Section 2.12 and are not subject to this Section 2.14.
LATE PAYMENTS
3.1
All accounts are billed according to the dates they were first activated on. If your payment is not cleared within 2 days after the due date, your account will be suspended. This section applies to licenses purchased directly through Smart STB. For Apple App Store subscriptions, access is governed by the status of your subscription as reported by Apple.
3.2
If you do not resume your service within 3 months after deactivation, your account will be terminated and all app settings including Portals will be lost. You will receive an email reminder before termination and deactivation, where an email address is associated with your account. Before termination takes effect, you may contact us at support@smart-stb.net to request a copy of any personal data associated with your account.
3.3
Upon license suspension, we may preserve the data for the license for up to 3 months. However, upon license termination, all data associated with that license is destroyed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
3.4
Billing in respect of Corporate Clients and the commensurate settling arrangements take place in terms of the individual agreement recorded in respect of such Corporate Client.

Where such laws apply, our liability to you is limited only to the maximum extent permitted by those laws, and the remedies available to you include those provided under those laws.
5.5
Where permitted under the applicable law, you and Smart IPTV Solutions Limited agree that each may bring claims against the other only in your or its individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding. Further, where permitted under the applicable law, unless both you and Smart IPTV Solutions Limited agree otherwise, the court may not consolidate more than one person’s claims with your claims, and may not otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding.

In the event of any conflict between these Billing & Payments terms and the General Terms of Service with respect to billing, payments, refunds, cancellations, or In-App Purchases, these terms shall prevail.
