Casting is now available in SmartSTB+ for Android, making it easier than ever to share your screen with TVs on the same network, on supported devices.

This update is designed to make SmartSTB+ feel smoother, smarter, and more comfortable to use in everyday situations. Alongside the new casting feature, the latest Android release also includes:

Picture-in-Picture support for mobile devices, so you can keep your stream visible while switching to other apps or tasks on your phone.

Colored buttons now working on some Android TV devices.

Smart STB+ released for Samsung TV’s

We are glad to announce that the latest version of our Smart STB+ (plus) app is now available for all Samsung Smart TVs made in 2020 or newer.

This version of the app supports different popular middleware (portals or m3u playlists) and has improved m3u list support (channels with logos, EPG and categories) Including support for local playlists and portals in local networks.

You can get a Trial on first app startup as usual and use the app the same way as you used the old app.

If you have Smart STB version of the app on your Samsung TV and download Smart STB+, your portal, mac address will be the same (you do not need to transfer your license or to purchase a new license for the new version of the app).

Please note that the plus version of the app app is available only on Samsung Smart TV’s made in 2020 and newer. The regular version is available on older TV’s as well.

Smart STB+ update for Android and iOS devices

Dear Customers,

A new update has been made for Smart STB+ on Android and iOS devices. The update includes many new features, bug fixes and performance improvements.
Below are some of the new features that we created for you to try:

Resize aspect ratio for ExoPlayer for TVs in the player’s subtitle and audio menu (Android only)
Improved support for portals, large m3u playlists, TV channels and movies
12-hour clock option in Advanced Settings Screen
Option to load and play last played channel in Advanced Settings Screen
Option to enter TV Mode in Advanced Settings Screen (Android only) (ATTENTION: This may break your application. This must only be used with specific STBs that have been identified as mobile devices by the application)
Live timeshift and pausing
Improved seeking through media
10 days of EPG lookup in the EPG page
Pagination for VideoClub and AudioClub for mobile devices

FireTV, Firestick and Huawei devices will be updated soon.

This Smart TV app supports different popular middleware (portals or m3u playlists) and has improved m3u list support (channels with logos, EPG and categories). Highest quality hardware decoding on Android smartphones, foldable devices, tablets and Android TV powered devices. You can download the app from the Google Play store.

FireTV, Firestick and Huawei versions are coming soon globally in all regions.

You can get a Trial on first app startup as usual and use the app the same way as you used the old app. If you use the app on a mobile phone, the new version has full touch screen support.

Also if you have an existing Smart STB license – you can switch to Smart STB+ at no additional cost by Transfering your license. Please make sure to select Transfer to the Same Device (and Copy vMAC).

Dear Customers,

We are introducing a brand new design for the app for iPhones and iPads. Now these devices have a vertical design.

The update for the app for iPhones and iPads devices is now available. With the new update of the app, we not only added a new design of the app, but we have fixed some bugs.

We are working on adding this design and for mobile devices with Android.

Unlimited licenses

Dear Customers,

From today we start offering Unlimited Lifetime licenses.

The Unlimited license is the same as Full Lifetime license but it has included unlimited transfers.

Lifetime and Lite Extra licenses

From today (15 of June 2023) we are no longer offer Lite Lifetime licenses. All Lite Lifetime licenses purchased in the past will receive support and app updates.

Starting today we introduce an option (Lite Extra) for all Lite Lifetime licenses which allows you to add up to 8 portals in the app and bundle up to 4 additional devices (Smart TVs, Smartphones, tablets) to your main licensed device.

This option (Lite Extra) can be purchased from each Lite Lifetime subscription and is available only for Lite Lifetime license and is affordable yearly subscription.
